THE FLOWERHORN FISH OF CHINATOWN NYC

Flowerhorn fish New York City ChinatownThe Flowerhorn of Chinatown

These cichlids are known for their beautiful colors and interesting markings not found in any other domestic fish. The are most commonly found and available in Chinatown pet stores across the US.

It may sound crazy but if you are visiting New York City and you are in Chinatown I have one of the best locations for viewing and even purchasing these beautiful and unique fish for your tank.

This place has some really great displays and some very large specimens for viewing.

If you are walking to the 38  Aquarium along Mott you may also find it interesting the look at the fish markets along the street. I was there this fall and was again suprised and amazed at what you can acquire here in the city, FROGS. I am not talking little cute belching frogs from your backyard, these are more like giant toads.

One has to wonder if some of the worlds greatest chefs working in NYC stop by in the morning to get the best pick for the frog legs daily special.
