THE GRINCH THAT ATE BROADWAY

This year we were treated to yet another tourist born re-do mess on the streets of Broadway. The Grinch was taken to all new lows as it was turned into a musical (an notice I did not prepend Broadway to this as it was not deserving).

Tourists from all over could not resist visiting an old friend while in New York this year. The Grinch that Stole Christmas set up shop and attracted scores of  tourists from all the major bus tours. I could not image who there in whoville would come to New York and see this and further feel satisfied they saw something at all.

The staging was good and the acting and singing was fair to good as well. The production as a whole was well done. Money made it work, the box office made out, end of story. Personally I would have been just as happy at Ellen's Stardust. No, in fact I think I would have enjoyed more!
