Throughout New York City on any given day in the summer, there are street fairs that takeover multiple city blocks and in many cases these are on main thoroughfares such as Broadway, 9th Avenue Hell’s Kitchen, and more.
City residents have a mixed opinion of the events as they block streets and prevent easy movement in and out of the city. Some like them because it means the potential for an interesting lunch. Still others see indigestion in their future should they venture in.
