Trendy Restaurants For Your Next GNO

Whether you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate a birthday or just get together with close friends, choosing a restaurant for your next girls night out can be difficult, and we get that. To help make the decision making process a little easier, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite new and trendy spots, perfect for your next outing with the girls:

Cecconi’s. PC: @infatuation_nyc

Cecconi’s – What’s better than gathering your girlfriends, noshing on cicchetti (small bites of Venetian food), and admiring waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline? Nothing. This relatively new restaurant in Dumbo has branches in a plethora of other cities, but the Brooklyn brasserie boasts impressive views and outdoor seating that’ll make you happy to be in the city.

Pizza at Public Kitchen.

Public Kitchen – Public Kitchen is Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s newest venture situated in the Public Hotel in Nolita. It’s trendy, has a black truffle pizza, and serves drinks worth writing home about. Head up to the rooftop after dinner while the weather’s still warm enough.

Chinese Tuxedo. PC: @becca_pr

Chinese Tuxedo – Housed in what used to be an opera house, Chinese Tuxedo is a two-story restaurant serving up contemporary Chinese fare in the heart of Chinatown. The space itself is reminiscent of Tao, but in a more posh, elevated setting. Whatever you go with, make sure to get an order of the Crispy Eggplant with peanut caramel on your table.

Minnie’s.

Minnie’s – This lively Lower East Side restaurant offers some of the best globally influenced American food we’ve seen in awhile. It’s casual and often reservations aren’t needed, which is a perk. The Sheep and The Peach and the Brisket Burger are must-orders.

Vodka pizza at Old Rose. PC: @oldrose

Old Rose – Old Rose, in the Jane Hotel serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night food, making it a great destination for any occasion. Highlighting Italian food utilizing fresh and seasonal ingredients, vodka pizzas with burrata, mushroom bowls, and Italian combo sandwiches are available (and recommended!) amongst much else.

Burger at Loring Place. PC: @loringlpacenyc

Loring Place – Loring Place serves seasonal, upscale American cuisine in Greenwich Village. There are tons of options, many with hearty vegetables and/or a wood-fired preparation. The food and service are both consistently reliable and frankly, just really good.  Some of our favorites here include the Baked Ricotta and the Grandma Style Pan Pizza.

Assortment of food from Lalito. PC: @foodbabynyc

Lalito – Lalito is an ultra-creative and original Mexican restaurant in Chinatown. The decor is burnt yellow and the space is simple, lending way for their food: vegan chicharrones (whaaaat?) and tamale gnocchi with lamb barbacoa. It’s casual, too, so save those heels for hitting up the many bars around afterwards.
