The city Board of Correction will get a new investigator to probe inmate deaths. Funding for the $86,000-a-year gig was included in Mayor de Blasio’s preliminary budget proposed earlier this month. Jails have grown more dangerous on de Blasio’s watch, with violent inmate-on-inmate incidents increasing 15.5 percent last fiscal year alone, according to city data….
