The Daily Mail reporting this morning something pretty disturbing. Something you know was happening but there was little proof. Something you saw in the college process that didn’t make sense, like a 1080 SAT becoming a 1420 on a kid there was no way in hell that could happen!
Well, the truth is a bitch. It hurts to think that even a small percentage of kids that worked really hard and played by the rules may have been denied admission to a school in favor a blatant cheat!
Some really interesting methods employed include paying off proctors to change wrong answers to correct ones. Giving admission slots to non-athletes under an athletic opportunity. Giving a slot reserved for under privileged and at risk applicants leveraging the lower SAT score as justification.
We call for a boycott of all offending and implicated schools!
- Full House star Lori Loughlin and Oscar nominee Felicity Huffman are two of the 50 parents charged in a plot to get their children into elite schools
- Loughlin and her husband ‘agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team’
- The two girls did not participate in crew, and Loughlin’s husband Mossimo Giannulli has also been charged in the scandal
- Huffman paid a $15,000 ‘charitable contribution ‘to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her eldest daughter’
- She is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Mail Fraud as are Loughlin and her husband
