NYCeWheels In New York City Closed

Source: http://andythousand.com/nycewheels/
Additional: Personal Observation

For years NYCeWheels has supported the alternative transportation needs of New Yorkians. NewYorkian.com is late to the party party on this one, we discovered it has been closed permanently since the beginning of the year.

Commentary:
The shop catered to a loyal group of alternative transportation followers. People looking to discover new options to walking the last mile from the subway or even community from Queens or Brooklyn could go here and look at just about any new product.

Unfortunately, overhead in the city and the push by online retailers removed this store from business. No one should feel bad, well I feel bad, it’s the way of a new world or is it? The evolution of retail lead to “the store” where you could go and seek insider advice on current products, like what didn’t break or what is the difference in durability. Some might contend you can still get such valuable information online. I would contend that you can’t be absolutely sure about anything content-type: comment found online anymore. With all the comment and review spam, it’s no longer an easy process. I find myself reading everything so critically these days my lens is permanently dimmed. I feel like a “Missourian” (The Show Me State). Sadly, I can’t be shown, another store is closed!

Farewell NYCeWheels, you are missed, especially today because I really needed some quality help.
