Where do I begin? Combining the best of both worlds, hot pot and KBBQ together – they already had me at hello. I highly recommend people to make a reservation in advance or else the walk-in wait time can be up to 3 hours (we actually waited 3 hours for this).
In terms of the food quality, their hot pot was the standout. Fresh produce, lots of variety to choose from, unique soup bases included in the price (nothing triggers me more than HP places jacking an extra $3-4 on a already expensive AYCE price), and a vast sauce bar so you can mix and match your own creation. We also tried their KBBQ but would probably pass on it next time as we didn’t find the meat tender enough and the marinade was on the ‘basic’ side (I didn’t find enough depth or dimension in the flavor). Overall, the KBBQ was OK but not a necessity (that’s why 1 star taken off). GREAT VALUE REGARDLESS FOR BOTH!
Service was decent for a Chinese-ran establishment. Granted the hostess could’ve been nicer in terms of updating us on wait-times but the waiters made up for that while serving us. They helped us cook and cut our meats w/o having to ask them which we greatly appreciated. Two thumbs up!
