Longtime Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes dead at 83
Longtime Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes has died, The Post has learned. The 83-year-old former prosecutor — who served as DA from 1990 to 2013 — died at a Florida hospital while visiting family, sources said Wednesday. He had been sick for a long time, the source added.
