Some parties transcend the tight confines of club walls and emerge the stuff of legend. Such is the case with Get Lost – a sanctuary for insanity, a place where music goers go to lose themselves and drown in beats. The mastermind behind these marathon parties is techno visionary and tastemaker Damian Lazarus. Get Lost has become a cornerstone of Miami Music Week culture, and now he’s bringing those good vibes north. For the first time ever, Get Lost NYC will invade Ridgewood, bringing to Knockdown Center an all new concept, as well as a star-studded lineup of house and techno’s biggest names, among them DJ Three, Nic Fanciulli, Francesca Lombardo, The Martinez Brothers, Serge Devant and many more.
This inaugural New York event comes in two installments. Friday night, October 11th is the debut of Get Lost Live, featuring acts like Kelsey Lu, Beautiful Swimmers and Whitney Fierce will show us how it’s done in real time. Then the madness continues on Saturday, October 12th, with a day into night roster of DJ sets and a party that’s sure to rival its seaside predecessor.
