Gladstone Branch Service Still Suspended Monday: NJ Transit

Morris & Essex Gladstone Branch service will still be suspended on Monday as NJ Transit works to fix overhead wires that were damaged by a fallen tree.

The agency suspended service along the line on Thursday after last week’s snow and ice toppled a tree, sending it onto the tracks and damaging several poles, NJ Transit said.

Service will now be suspended “at least through Monday” as the agency carries out repairs.

“Rail tickets and passes continue to be cross-honored by NJ Transit and Lakeland Bus Lines through the service day,” the agency said.
