Police Open Fire in Queens Bouncer Shooting: NYPD

Police opened fire outside a Queens club early Saturday, hitting a suspect who had shot a bouncer, the NYPD said. 

Both the bouncer and the suspect were expected to survive, police said. No officers were hurt. 

Police responded to a report of shots fired at the club on 88th Street and Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park, police said. 

Someone had apparently shot the bouncer of a club after an altercation, police said. Police opened fire and shot the suspect. 

The club is near the elevated 88th Street-Boyd Avenue subway stop for the A train.
